The brief

What this project had to solve

Appliance shoppers compare models and brands for a long time before they buy, and they want to know about delivery, installation and payment options before paying for an expensive item. The store had to make a large catalogue easy to browse and answer those questions up front.

Approach

How the website was built

  • Shopify for a large, frequently changing catalogue that the TBM team manages themselves.
  • Collections by category (kitchen, beverage preparation, audio visual) and by brand, such as Sharp, LG, Toshiba and TCL.
  • Filter and sort on collection pages, so shoppers can narrow down models quickly.
  • Key buying reasons shown before the cart: free delivery in the Klang Valley, 0% instalment and Buy Now Pay Later, and genuine products.
Scope

What the website includes

  • Shopify store with category and brand collections
  • Collection filters and sorting
  • Top Searches shortcuts in the menu
  • Tiered discount code promotions
  • Customer reviews
  • Rewards programme (Axtra Rewards) section
Outcome

Where it stands today

The store is live at shop.tbm.com.my as TBM's online channel, alongside its delivery, installation and after-sales services.
